Beyond transformative agreements
I en artikel publicerad på EUA: s plattform "Expert Voices", skriver Astrid Söderbergh Widding och Wilhelm Widmark vid Stockholms universitet samt Anna Lundén och Britt-Marie Wideberg vid Kungliga biblioteket att Bibsamkonsortiet strävar mot att byta från läs- och publiceringsavtal till avtal som enbart handlar om publicering efter 2024. Nästa generations avtal måste säkerställa transparenta priser, ge större kostnadseffektivitet och ha färre transaktionskostnader än det nuvarande systemet. Vad artikeln i korthet säger är att Bibsamkonsortiet vill arbeta med förlag som visar ledarskap i denna nya era av öppen tillgång och med alla intressenter för att utveckla nya affärsmodeller, med målet att göra vetenskapliga tidskrifter öppet tillgängliga för användare över hela världen.

Söktjänst för tidskrifter med OA-publicering
Stockholms universitetsbibliotek har släppt en beta-version av en söktjänst för tidskrifter med OA-publicering. Via söktjänsten kan forskaren se om universitetet har något avtal för att publicera sig OA i en viss tidskrift utan att behöva betala någon APC. UB undersöker möjligheten att skapa en motsvarande tjänst vid LU. KB har påbörjat ett projekt där man vill/skall ta fram en nationell tjänst vilket vi bör beakta innan vi tar fram en egen tjänst.

Elsevier - Testing a new approach to open access fees
Elsevier har infört en ny avgift, en så kallad EPC-avgift, vilket står för editorial processing charge. Det är en avgift som skall betalas innan granskningen av ett manus ägt rum. Förlagets motiv för att införa avgiften är att man hoppas på att man på så sätt kan hålla nere antal artiklar som skall granskas. Elsevier har meddelat att dessa avgifter ingår i avtalet med Bibsamkonsortiet och inte behöver betalas av den enskilda forskaren.

European Commission awards contract for setting up an open access publishing platform
EUs anbud om att sätta upp en Plan S-kompatibel publiceringstjänst utan några APC-kostnader har tilldelats F1000, numera uppköpt av Taylor&Francis. Tjänsten beräknas vara i gång tidigt 2021.

Juridikum har startat en prenumeration på EU Law Live. EU Law Live produces news updates, analyses and "Op-Eds" by a network of analysts; researchers, EU lawyers and the editorial board. Other features are: Events, Morning Agenda, Library, Weekend Edition, Special Reports and Editorial Comments. EU Law Live provides two main services: a body of content available through its website and through email alerts. All the database materials are compiled by the Xinjiang Autonomous Region Cultural Relics Bureau. It’s a collection of the 60 years of Xinjiang archaeological research findings, and comprehensively contains the graphic materials and achievements of the cultural relics and archaeology in the western region at home and abroad. It is the most comprehensive and authoritative collection of cultural relics and archaeological data of the Western Regions.
Archives of Chinese Chambers of Commerce（Baoding Part）中国商会档案数据库(保定卷) (NIAS)
The Database of Archives of Chinese Chambers of Commerce (Baoding Part) consists of files and documents dating back from the 34th year of reign of Qing Emperor Guangxu (1908) to the initial stage of the founding of People's Republic of China (1956), which are authentic records of what Baoding Chamber of Commerce having gone through for half a century and also are important historical archives for studying the social and economic history of modern Baoding and even the whole North China and the history of Janpanese invasion of China. All archives in the database can be retrieved by full-text search, multidimensional search or cross search. Moreover, statistics of items being retrieved and relevant literatures are provided in order to benefit the scholars making preliminary study of the archives.

Chinese Recorder Database 教務雜誌 (NIAS)
The Chinese Recorder and Missionary Journal was published in Shanghai from 1867 to 1941. It was the foremost voice of the English language missionary community in China. In the 1920s and 1930s, under it was known for its liberal theology and support for Chinese nationalism.

It includes full-text database (classified by subject), abstract index database and topic database (with 26 research classification topics), all of which have high academic research value.
Shanghai Lexicographical Publishing (NIAS) 18 mars - tills vidare
The database is based on Cihai, inherits its advantages and expands its content. It focuses on adding new words and meanings in various disciplines and new areas not yet covered to fills in gaps. It covers 42 disciplines in 5 major disciplines: "words", "philosophy and social sciences", "history and geography", "literature and art", and "science and technology". It has about 285,000 entries, more than 50 million words, 8,000 pictures, integrates knowledge of ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign.
